interview itu... (part 2)

-Continue with part 2-

Our first activity was ice-breaking session..it was some sort of introduce-yourself session (i think it is,, hmm) this is the chance where we meet and get to know new friends..we were asked to tell our name, where we came from, our personality + hobbies & why we choose to go for this x-change program..mine goes like this:

[A/N: It may not exactly the same as I said on that day, since I've forgot some of the details. I'll try my best to recall it.]

"Hello, my name is Nurul Amira Bt Zainudin. I am 16 years old and currently studying in SMT (ERT) Azizah and took Food Management course or known as Pengurusan Makanan. At the first time you met me, you may said that I am a very shy girl. But once you know me, I am actually a very friendly person. I love meeting new friends and make friends with them. The reason why I choose to go for this exchange program to Japan is because I want to learn their culture, language and anything about Japan. At the same time, I would like to share with Japanese about our Malaysia, a multi-racial country: our language, cultures and anything about Malaysia."

Well, that's the end of my intro. Quite short and simple, isn't it? Maybe way too simple. I told you I forgot some the details. After intro, all of us, I mean the candidates, chatted a little bit and exchange greetings. A group of girls who sat next to me came from SIGS. We chatted and I found that some of them are anime freak = otaku. Just like me! Yeay, at least I know that I'm not the only anime-freak in that room. Plus, they have learned Japanese language in their school since their in Form 1. They said that the subject is compulsory for them. Wow, lucky aren't they?
By the way, did I tell you that most of the candidates are 16 years old; the same age as me? There is only one Malay boy that was chosen for this interview. His name is Haziq and he came from STS (Sekolah Tinggi Segamat). He is also 16. While he was introducing himself, he was stuttering, which I find it very cute? Hehe. Not that I attracted to him, just I found that he was quite cute when he was stuttering.

Now, finish with the introducing. We moved on with another activity that is a game called Guess . First, we were divided into 2 groups. Each of us will be given some words and we have to represent it to our groups without telling them, but through actions. It's like we played Pictionary, but this one we can't draw to give the hint but through actions. It's very hard. We have to keep guessing and guessing. If we failed, we have to represent it to another and let them guess. When it was my turn, I got the President of USA. Seriously, I really don't know act like it. Huhu. My mind was blank. Totally blank. Poor my group. After the given time is over, I asked one of the volunteers to re-act. Well, he managed to act it and the other group got it right. A value that I have learned form this game how can we communicate by not using our mouth and voice; but through actions. Looks like I have to improve my body communication skills.

A/N: Postpone again. Will return in part 3.
